Remarks by our Managing Director at the Nsambya Parish Fundraising Marathon:

I am grateful and honored to stand before you today as we come together at this Nsambya Parish Marathon Fundraiser.

As Centenary Bank, we are delighted to be part of this noble initiative to complete the external works and drainage systems of the Nsambya Parish Commercial Building Project. This project will benefit the entire community, and we are proud to play a role in its realization.

Centenary Bank is deeply rooted in the values of the Catholic Church, with our foundation inspired by a commitment to service, community development, and improving the lives of Ugandans. This partnership is more than just corporate social responsibility - it’s a reaffirmation of our identity and the principles that guide us. Our long-standing relationship with Nsambya Parish is a testament to this shared commitment. Over the years, we’ve collaborated on numerous projects, building a bond based on trust, shared values, and a common vision of enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve. I can confidently say that this partnership will continue to thrive for many years.

As a bank, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Every year, Centenary Bank commits 2% of the previous year’s savings to Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, focusing on education, health, environment and the church's social mission. This year, as part of our commitment, we have contributed UGX 10 million to this project, and we hope that it serves as a stepping stone towards the successful completion of the external works and drainage systems.
